Helpful Appointment Tips
October through January can get pretty busy for us – sometimes we’re booked up one month in advance – so when it comes to scheduling your annual non-emergency chimney and dryer vent repair and preventative maintenance, “off-peak” season is your best bet.
When Is “Off-Peak” Season?
“Off-Peak” season essentially refers to the spring and summer months (February through September).
What Do I Need To Do To Prepare For My Appointment?
There are a few things you can do to ensure that your appointment is smooth and hassle-free. Here are a few tips to help you prepare:
- In order to protect our technicians, we ask that you stop using your fireplace or stove a full 24 hours before your appointment. This will allow the appliance to properly cool before we begin working on it.
- Please clean all ash from the firebox before your appointment. It is important that you always collect ash in a metal container.
- We ask that you remove any fragile, breakable or precious items from the 5-6 ft area around the appliance we will be working on.
As a courtesy, we send annual reminders for service and confirm all appointments by phone 24 hours in advance.
